At the 35th Economic Forum in Karpacz, Katarzyna Zamaro moderated the panel “The Future of Higher Education – Innovation, Cooperation, Mobility”, bringing together university leaders from Poland, Luxembourg, Slovakia and France, as well as a representative of Poland’s Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The discussion featured Prof. Jerzy Lis, Rector of AGH University of Krakow; Prof. Marie-Hélène Jobin, Vice-Rector for Partnerships and International Relations at the University of Luxembourg; Prof. Mária Kardis, Vice-Rector for International Relations at the University of Prešov; Prof. Antoine Kouchner, Vice-President for Strategy and International Relations at Université Paris Cité; and Prof. Andrzej Szeptycki, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and professor at the University of Warsaw.
The panel explored the future direction of European higher education, including the master–student relationship and more personalised learning, stronger engagement with Africa and Asia, researcher mobility, science funding and the growing importance of interdisciplinarity.
On behalf of isMOCLEP, Katarzyna Zamaro led an open webinar for scientists from around the world, including members of the Pomeranian Medical University and the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli communities. The session focused on communicating research effectively, building an expert brand and increasing researchers’ visibility beyond academia.
IELTS examinations can be taken in Szczecin at the official British Council IELTS Test Point operating at SAIL International School, ul. Doktora Judyma 24. The centre offers computer-based IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training tests, so candidates from Szczecin and the wider region no longer need to travel to other cities. Katarzyna Zamaro represented the SAIL Foundation at the inauguration and spoke about the importance of international language certificates for people planning to study or work abroad.
Katarzyna Zamaro joined NAWA’s panel “Science without borders: how to communicate science in a global context?”, devoted to international communication and the visibility of Polish science. The debate took place in the Polish Science Pavilion, a space bringing together the scientific community, business and public administration.
Katarzyna Zamaro moderated the audience discussion during an Oxford-style debate at Kozminski University. Experts and critics of AI explored the ethical, legal and practical aspects of using artificial intelligence in medicine and healthcare.
Katarzyna Zamaro was a co-initiator and co-organiser of the event held in the Knights’ Hall of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship Office. Together with Dorota Szybowska, she moderated a meeting devoted to epigenetics, new directions in medicine and the development of the Regional Centre for Digital Medicine in Szczecin.
